Conquering the Evil

This morning, like most mornings, I was awake early and when I checked the news, I saw there were no soldiers’ names. That felt so good and I went on with my day. After lunch, though, my husband informed me there were nine more names. Nine more names! Nine more worlds destroyed. Nine more families thrown into mourning along with countless friends.

HaShem! Please! No more!
The whole country is tense. We’re anxious, worried, concerned. Everyone is walking around exhausted. Therefore, it’s so easy to be irritable and annoying, but we can’t let ourselves fall into that negative behavior. Now, more than ever, we have to give each other the benefit of the doubt, try to understand each other’s pain, be more patient, more caring. With a lot of love we just might be able to conquer the evil.
