Unfortunately most people prefer to be "outraged" by what is on television rather than simply changing the channel or better yet just turning the television off! I personally quit watching 90% of all television around my senior year in high school when I became too busy and I discovered I never missed it. Thanks to our limited computer/television viewing rules in the house our kids have learned to appreciate documentaries and classic movies along with current films.
